I think all ten of these books may provide insights, at least for understanding if not in application. A well read Companion should at least be able to pretend convincingly that she has read them.
Thanks Jai, I'll get onto this aiming for a balance of relaxation and diligence ...

though I don't agree that any Companion 'should' feel they 'should' have to do anything as he/she can pick their own clients, with their various expectations ^^

winks.. and goes back to marking her students' work

thank you hilary :D

I've been wondering, where will the library go when Dakini Land sinks below the waves?

Most Companion Houses will have at least one - the form it will take is under discussion :)

I think the ungraded Acolytes ought to practice their calligraphy by copying the texts by hand....

*tucks his hands into his sleeves to hide faint ink stains on his fingers* Oh! We're allowed to make copies of the books? I'll get started on that today!
*paling slightly when he sees the difference between the simpler style he had been using and the original*

Uh oh ...

*sets the page he'd been working on to the side to dry, then pulls out a fresh sheet and begins again*
