Maiko Sisters during Covid Lockdown!
A fun video channel of real Maiko (trainee Geisha) in Kyoto, Japan. Here one of them is applying her makeup - I find it doesn't matter too much not understanding the language. Te body language and sisterhood is a pleasure to witness - along with them both figuring out how to deal with a new medium (I doubt she has ever had to put on her makeup live and to a single angle camera!) Enjoy!
