Being and becoming

I was just looking back on my blog entries here. I kept writing about big internal revelations. This is a good thing, mind, as I can look back and see a few things more from those points of epiphany than I did at the time. Since the last one, though, the work and the walk on the path to Registration has been different. Quieter. Smaller realizations have come through. All of them important, all of them necessary. Not all learning is done in bursts of mental fireworks. If it was, we'd have no space for contemplation and integration.

What leads me to write here again is a nascent feeling. It's as if I can sense something budding inside me. A very tender shoot just breaking the shell of the seed. It's linked intrinsically to what I have done since last August when the Guild welcomed me. My changes in perspective, the experiences I've had, the teaching I've received. Even my changes in appearance are bound to it.

That small shoot will need further nurturing to grow and become. I don't yet know what it will look like. Aspects of it exist in the beings of every one of my Registered siblings, though. And I trust more than ever that my little shoot will be well tended and brought to full flower in the proper course of time.
